Sexual Health

Sexual health services:

The providers at Children’s Medical Group are available to help manage our patients with issues pertaining to their sexual health. We will protect their privacy as outlined by federal and state law. While we do not provide birth control services or perform full pelvic examinations in our office, we can refer our adolescent female patients to GYN practices when necessary. Our practice is able to do limited screenings and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases in both males and females. We provide HPV vaccination for both female and male patients. The vaccination is indicated in young women for the prevention of cervical cancer, and for the prevention of venereal warts in both adolescent males and females.
