We wish her all of the best in her next phase of life.

CMG patients and families,

As many of you have heard, I sadly will be leaving Children’s Medical Group at the end of May 2024.  My husband has been presented with a great opportunity to expand his career in Chattanooga, Tennessee, so we will be making the move there in the coming weeks.

This transition for my family comes with mixed emotions as I am so appreciative of my time at CMG over the last 8.5 years. I have worked alongside, in my opinion, the greatest, most compassionate, brilliant doctors, nurse practitioners, PAs, nurses, MAs, lab technicians and office staff there is. I first connected with CMG as a nurse practitioner student in 2014, when Brooke Aplin, CPNP graciously took me under her wing for the bulk of my clinical rotations, and I became her student that never left. It was evident to me even as a student what a special place CMG is, and I knew it was my “dream” place to work.

What I did not know then, was how many special and incredible patients and families I would cross paths with. As I reflect back on my time with CMG, I am overcome with emotion and gratitude for the families that have trusted me and allowed me to care for their children. To my patients and families, I will deeply miss you. I have learned so much from each of you, and you have all played a leading role in shaping me into the nurse practitioner I am today. I am confident you will continue to receive exceptional and compassionate care from my colleagues at CMG.

Sincerely,

CJ Jones
