Mental health services:

Our medical providers are frequently involved in the management of mental health issues involving our adolescents and young adults. This may include prescribing medication for ADD, screening for substance abuse problems, screening for depression, and being first responders to family crisis situations such as divorce. One of our roles is to appropriately refer those individuals needing psychological counseling, substance abuse counseling, or medical treatment for more serious psychiatric problems such as major depressive disorder to the most appropriate mental health specialist.
