As many of you know, I will be retiring from Childrens Medical Group at the end of May 2022. I have been part of the CMG family for over 16 years and it is truly hard to leave such a special place. I first became acquainted with CMG when I was pregnant with my daughter and the practice was recommended to me by a co-worker at CHOA. I had a prenatal visit with Dr. Cox back when he worked at the Century Center office. We were on board from then on, birth through age 21. We went from Dr. Cox to Marietta Slemp PNP and Dr. Hutson. Then another connection occurred I was back in school to become a PNP and I was able to be at CMG with Marietta as my preceptor, twice. At that point, I knew I wanted to work there but just had to wait until an opening became available. That took 5 years but finally I was in! Thats my history with CMG, spanning a total of 25 years.
To my patients and families that I have cared for these past 16 years, I will miss you greatly. It has been my pleasure and honor to watch you grow and mature through the years and to help you and your families during times of illness and stress. I wish you all the best in the years to come as you continue to grow and begin your journey as young adults. I assure you that my colleagues at CMG will continue to provide you with the care, services, and resources you need. To my wonderful colleagues and CMG family, it has been my utmost pleasure to work with you at CMG. I feel so honored to have been part of this prestigious and well-respected pediatric practice.
